Once again I find myself blogging on a Wednesday! But there is some abnormality because this is probably the weirdest post you will ever see on Graphique Fantastique. Before I start, I just wanted to clarify that I have not gone crazy, just feeling a bit flushed. (A pun which was very much intended… read on to understand)
What I am about to show you is the most beautiful detail that you will ever see…. on a TOILET. That’s right, a toilet.
I stayed at my friend’s house the other night and visited her bathroom to… well you know, powder my nose! 🙂
Her whole house is really nice, and the bathroom kept up the standard; glistening blue ceramic tiles complimented by white…. I can’t remember much other details because I was then taken back by the toilet. And the basin.
I would like to think of myself as a proper Graphic Designer now; good at noticing the tiniest of beautiful details. I looked at the toilet and I saw beauty. Nothing shocks me now. I don’t surprise myself anymore; I took a picture of my friend’s toilet!!!! I didn’t tell her and I welcome all views to my blog of course but I kinda hope she doesn’t see this because she will think I am weird haha
Looking at the logo out of context, on this page, there maybe isn’t really anything THAT amazing about it. But inside a toilet it was such a great detail. I am learning to appreciate the finer details now.
BC Sanitan apparently run from London, although I couldn’t find out much about their history. I just love the simple logo detail they have added to their products and think that it portrays elegence, even in a toilet! I don’t know why but I get a kind of Victorian vibe from this, even though in Victorian times toilets were a bucket which was chucked out into the street? Am I right?
I appreciate any comments but in order to make me feel slightly less crazy, I ask that if you appreciate the BC Sanitan detail even slightly that you please comment and express your appreciation. I would feel a lot better… if I get no comments then I will just flush my head down a toilet? Comments please!
