I bumped into the New York Times Magazine typography when looking at Julien Vallée a couple of months ago and found it to be nicely done… AND then I found this cover from the New York Times STYLE Magazine last week:

… and it has blossomed into a love for MOST of the NYTSM (my abbreviation) covers, of which I found a mini database of past covers here!
So I have limited myself to pick my 10 favourite covers (not including the one above, so OK it’s 11) for use in this post (because otherwise it could get very long) and I hope that by me sharing these with you (my readers), we can create lots of love for the NYTSM covers, all around the world!! 
I love typography created from existing objects
I have a Magazine Covers book but NYTSM sadly does not feature (my book was published a little while back so getting abit old now) but I think that even over the usual ‘favourite’ magazine covers e.g. Vogue, I.D…. NYTSM is my favourite magazine for magazine cover art!
I’m loving this post, all the T’s look so cool! I’ll be looking out for them from now on
