Happy Triangle Friday! As a girl, I love my clothes, shoes and bags. I follow a few fashion blogs, but I wouldn’t say that I’m a total fashion follower. However, when triangles walk down the catwalk I can’t help but pay attention:
I love the light bouncing off and reflections – it’s beautiful.
Iris van Herpen‘s work is pure fashion – theatrical, impractical and amazing. She has brilliant attention to detail, here creating here what is almost a paper cut outfit:
Obviously it’s not actually made of paper, but it has that delicate look. You wouldn’t wear any of these out and about, but that’s the point, right? It’s fashion daaaarling! You can’t deny that they look tri-tastic walking down the catwalk.
They remind me of something Lady GaGa would wear and for me, that’s a good thing! Fashion should be fun – if only life could be fun all the time, hey?
Do you know any other designers that use triangles in their work? As always, get in touch – I’d love to see them! And if you don’t, why not make your own tri-tastic outfit this weekend? Haha Sewing machines at the ready… go!
