When Mr Nutcase got in touch with me about reviewing one of their custom phone cases I jumped at the chance – how could I not when my surname is Nuttall?

I’ve had my iPhone 5 for just over a year now and before that I was stuck in the dark ages with a Blackberry. I didn’t worry about if it looked cool with different cases etc, because I wasn’t attached to my phone. I wasn’t one of those people. I could It’s a different story now and like many, sadly, I don’t know what I’d do without my iPhone. Twitter, Instagram, Blogging-on-the-go – a whole new world has opened up to me, including phone cases.

Mr Nutcase have a selection of designs, but as a creative, of course I wanted to design my own. I saw some cases in Urban Outfitters a while back that had letters on – regular readers will know how I feel about Ns, so when I couldn’t find an N version I was sad. Well, using my letterpress library (that I printed and scanned in for a project at Uni) I could make my own:

So that’s what I did! The cases are available for a good range of manufacturers and models, and even iPads. You can choose from leather flipcase, full wrap around or ultra light weight slimline – which is what I went for. For the design, I wanted to create my own design completely. I’ve seen people create girds of photos of their friends, but I just photoshopped all of my letters into an image the size of an iPhone 5 and applied that.

2 days later (really fast, right?)this popped through my letter box:

I love it! It’s really good quality – light weight but not fragile and a textured surface with my design printed onto it perfectly.

So now I can take selfies in reflective surfaces with no shame – Thanks Mr Nutcase! And if you’re as impressed as I am and want to order your own case, use ‘Thanku10’ to receive 10% discount.

What do you think to my new phone case? What would you put on your case – photos? illustrations? triangles?

*DISCLAIMER: This post is sponsored by Mr Nutcase – I received my phone case in exchange for a review on my blog. This doesn’t effect my opinion though and I am honestly very pleased with the service that I received.*
