Last night I popped into Costa Del Print Club London’s latest exhibition, Lost and Found. Blue skies, bunting, deck chairs and cocktails – it sounds like summer, right? (I even walked around without my coat and scarf… it MUST be summer soon!)
I seem to be moaning about spending a lot of time sat at a desk at the moment, so any excuse to go to the print rooms & be around hand crafted work really – Print Club London is the perfect place for this. Tucked away in a Dalston side street, it’s rough around the edges and smells like freshly inked prints – mmm 🙂 I loved the quirky little drinks vouchers too – cheers!
I met my ‘blog friend’ Nikki of Style & Influence, to catch up & soak in inspiration from the map/navigational themed pieces. With work by Andrew Diprose, Dave Buonaguidi, Susie Wright, Simon Fitzmaurice, Clare Halifax, Steve Mitchell, Ministry of Love, 57 Design and Alice Hoult – there are some beautiful pieces to oogle at.
It’s so weird how you can be talking about your life and look up at a piece of art on the wall that perfectly sums up what you just said! That is the wonderful beauty of art, design and culture – it’s all so relatable.
Lost and found is a cosy little exhibition which geographers/cartography fans/map addicts will love. Prints go on sale today so be quick to head over to the PCL web shop & snap one up if maps are your thing!
