Some of you might remember that last year I challenged myself with #The100DayProject? For 100 days I posted a photo featuring a triangle to my Instagram account, with weekly round ups on the blog too; #100daysoftriangles was probably the biggest challenge I’ve ever set myself. But I’m so glad that I did… I’ve managed to keep my blog running for 7 years now, but other than that I’ve never really stuck at anything for a...

You might remember that last month I announced that I was co-hosting the #The100DayProjectLondon meet up (and the story of how that came about)? Well Wednesday evening it was time to get my host-on and meet complete strangers brought together by an internet project. I was greeted by our lovely host, Andrea – an American designer, and welcomed in to her flat (we took a raincheck from the park) for an evening of celebration. I made...

Just over a month after the ‘end’ of #The100DayProject and the guys at The Great Discontent have announced some global meet ups. An opportunity for like-minded people to get together and celebrate our achievement, I was looking forward to meeting other Londoners who had been undertaking the challenge. When the email arrived I scoured the list for a London meet up, only to discover that it didn’t exist… there wasn’t a meet up anywhere in the...

Week 15! THE END! I honestly didn’t know if I was going to make it this far when I started #The100DayProject back in April. I’ve never stuck to anything like this before, but actually in the end it was just a part of my daily routine and no hassle to post (well, other than the pressure). The pressure was really on this week as it was the end of the project – I really wanted...

OH MY GOD – I am so close to the finish now guys! After a bit of a confidence dip in week 13, I feel like week 14 has been one of the best. I worked really hard this week and I think you can tell? Well, I’m happy with every photo this week! I always find that I work best under pressure and boy, the pressure was heavy heading into the 90s. So just...

Week thirteen – unlucky for some! And I do feel like this has been a bit of a rubbish week. As the project draws closer to the end, the pressure is on for all of my triangles to be on point (pun intended). There’s only a few triangles left to post, which makes my selection process even harder than before. I’ve really been trying to push myself but this week I was really lacking in...

I feel like I’m repeating myself, but I can’t believe I’m on Week 12 now – the time has flown! I’m actually finding it a lot harder now, really having to push myself further to go to new places in search of triangles. Around the 50 mark I had a lot of ideas and places that I knew I could visit for triangles but now it’s becoming a proper challenge to post something new and exciting. 80 odd...

Wow, week Eleven – I had to google how to spell eleven, oh dear! Ha After the excitement of last week’s feature in The 100 Day Project’s newsletter, this week has been quite chilled for a change. I’m still debating what I’m going to do when the challenge is finished, but for now I’ll continue to enjoy triangles: 71 – Working in a railway arch has it’s advantages, one being that when the sun is shining...

So this week Instagram made some changes to their layout – the new simplicity looks great, but they’ve removed the header meaning that I now have to make a weekly roundup montage rather than just screenshot the generated one – boo! In terms of #The100DayProject, Week 10 has been the best yet because something really amazing happened! So every Monday there is a #The100DayProject newsletter which features inspiration from #The100DayProject feed and top picks from some...

I can’t believe that it’s June. Summer has officially arrived… and so has my hayfever! It’s been amazing weather this week, but unfortunately I’ve not really been outside to enjoy it because I was ill with a fever Wednesday to Friday. Burning up and being stuck inside when it’s beautiful weather outside is one of the worst things. Luckily I was feeling much better for the weekend so the triangle hunt continued. The show must go...

Woaahhhhh, we’re half way there! Wo-ah living on a triangle 🙂 I’ve made it to 50 now and I’m pretty proud of myself – I’ve got all of you seeing triangles everywhere #sorrynotsorry I don’t really know what happened but without realising it there’s been a bit of a colour theme this week – I’ve posted a lot of yellow and blue. 50 – The only way to mark half way – simple, to the point;...

I feel like I say it every week, but this week really has been a bit of a busy week. I had something planned for almost every evening, which of course is a great excuse to find more triangles. I’m basically half way through now and still enjoying every day (although I keep losing count!), so here’s to passing over into the second half! Days 43 to 49: 43 – A blast from the past – who...

Summer is finally here in week 6 and it’s been hard not to post a blue sky everyday! The weather has been lovely and that makes my triangle hunt even easier. I’m noticing a handful of people that are liking my #100daysoftriangles every single day which is really lovely – it really motivates me to keep searching or the best triangles London has to offer 🙂 36 – I spotted this cool light feature hidden away...

Week 5 takes me to and past a third of the way through #the100dayproject – time flies when you’re having fun! I’m pretty impressed that I have managed to keep going this long actually. Also I’ve kind of set myself an unwritten rule that I won’t post anything other than #100daysoftriangles until I’ve reached the big 100 on 14th July, which is proving hard but I don’t want to mess my feed up do I?...

Week four of #100daysoftriangles has been the busiest yet, with one photo proving very popular. Usually my Instagrams are averaging between 30-40 likes, but this week my phone has been buzzing non-stop with notifications even 3 days after I had posted it. I haven’t worked out where the unexpected popularity came from, but I’m pretty amazed by the 305 likes! Eeeek! All of the triangle love 🙂 So, over a quarter of the way now...
