… this! You may remember a little while back (a month today actually!) I was doing some weird things with my room – emptying it, inviting people over, doing the conga etc. It was all good fun, but what was it actually for? As the penultimate brief of our degree ( cry), Philippa gave us an open brief with a starting point. Franz Kafka’s ‘Metamorphosis’, which is the story of a hard working travelling salesman...

This post is very over-due. I finished this project ages ago but kept it under wraps because of competition etiquette. Unfortunately my work wasn’t chosen as a winner, but I’m still very happy with what I produced. I thought it was about time I blogged about it as I’ve had it uploaded to my website for a while and we’re about to start the 2013 YCN brief now – ooops! Just to re-cap, the brief asked...

The other project I have been working on is a YCN competition brief. Exciting stuff it is, entering competitions but a lot of pressure though! The concept which I’m developing for the new i campaign is very… me. It was a long time ago, but my love for moustaches is still continuing since posting this back in October 2010! I’ve also edited the buttons on the steering wheel and the speedometer so that it reads correctly instead of blurry, back to front numbers! Did you even notice? Comments? Well I’m happy with it anyway… so I moved onto putting it...

Who remembers this? Well… 2 days before the advertising project was to be handed in an accident occured with my memory stick (I leant my friend Sophie my memory stick to get some printmaking pictures when she deleted my advertising project folder because she thought it was her memory stick)… so I didn’t have anything to hand in and I lost the PSD version of the above advert so could not edit it because PNGs don’t have layers! So I’ve had...

Since finishing the brick advertising challenge I have been working on another advertising brief. We have been challenged to create an advertising campaign for a charity or cause and I have chosen to try and stop texting while driving. Did you know that texting whilst driving is 3 times more dangerous than drink driving!? A study by the RAC Foundation found that reaction times were slowed by 35% when 17-24year olds drove while reading and...
