Happy Tri Fri! I’m trying my best to give you a bit of triangular variation every week., so this week I give you: The branding for new fashion brand Moxham was created by Leeds studio, The Consult. The logo is built from triangles, but I can make out an M and an X hidden in there? The font is simple and bold, with all the letters being symmetrical like the logo. Moxham describes themselves as...

A is for Autumn. A is also for Accessorize. The other day I nipped into Accessorize and picked up their latest ‘lookbook/catalogue’ for Autumn/Winter 2011. I think the reason for me picking it up was a mixture of: being a girl and liking Accessorize products, being a temp sales assistant over the summer I feel a bit of loyalty to the brand now? haha and also because I’m a graphic designer and I just like...

The ‘coin’ being design in this case! This is a bit late, but anyway…. Last Thursday I dipped my toes into the world of Fashion at the University of Westminster’s Graduate Fashion show. “Westminster? A bit random” you say? Well I wasn’t just randomly hanging around in London! Jack‘s sister, Emma Kingham, was one of the lucky ones picked from her class to have her collection walk the catwalk. I’ve never been to a fashion...

After debating whether or not to buy them… I did. I just thought ‘Why not?’…. you only live once! They arrived today – Eeek! Pantyhose! Haha! How Americano! Ooooh typographic texture… 🙂 Yayyyyy! They’re amazing! Can’t wait to strut my punctuation around Lincoln 🙂 Might go all out and put my Helvetica t-shirt on too!? Nn 🙂 Typographic overload! Watch these legs… 😛

American Apparel are my new best friends. First they brought us the Helvetica Tshirt…. …. and now, PUNCTUATION TIGHTS! Crazy! They just love us Graphic Designers… I first saw these on Autilia‘s blog: Ahhh they’re so amazing! I am SO tempted to buy them, but at $36/ approx. £22 (and then add shipping on top of that) they turn out to be some pretty expensive tights… especially as I have a bit of a history...

This post is half a year late really! The Topshop make up range has been available since May 2010, but better late than never 🙂 I was just looking back over the blog of Vasare: I have been following her blog for a while now and she always has really interesting things to share so definitely worth a browse! Having a second look at the Topshop Make Up Packaging has just made me realise how...

Here’s a question for you: What can you make with….. …A Morrison’s Value mixing bowl A metre of green ribbon An A1 sheet of green card An A4 sheet of red paper A black polystyrene pizza packaging tray A metre of white cotton material and A Poundland Solar Panel Garden Post Light? (which I got I.D.ed for because apparently it could be used as a weapon so you need to be 21 to buy it – so...

Thursday the 8th of April, my latest (impulse) buy arrived! I even had to answer the door in my dressing gown – poor postman haha The Helvetica Tshirt from American Apparel Online, Nn. It was such a beautiful day so I rolled the sleeves up and went outside to enjoy some rays… I’m too scared to cut it up just yet – going to practice on a cheap tshirt first to get the right shape 🙂 Watch...

Back in September 2009 I was just starting a typographic CD project. At the time I was looking for fashion illustration imagery showing use of ink and watercolour, and I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for… doesn’t it always happen like that? You see a lot of something and then when you need it you can’t find it? Well anyway, I really like the fashion illustration style so often search behance, flickr and...

MeSometimes…

… I wish that I had done Fashion. Shhhh, don’t tell anyone. (Day One of my new 365 challenge) That is when I’m caught up in Flickr world – but then I remember why I love Graphic Design 🙂 A girl can like 2 things at once, right? 😉 It’s NYD – Friday 1st January 2010 – New Years Day. I am hopefully getting my New Years kiss right about now 🙂 – yes, I have pre-written this post...

I haven’t blogged for nearly 2 weeks now! Crazy! I’ve finished college for christmas now so have been doing some shopping, wrapping and snapping(photographs). The snow has caused a lot of hassle the past couple of days but I wanted to look at it more positively; people forget it’s rare for England to get a good lot of snow so stop moaning and start enjoying! Parts of America seem to deal with it being snowy...

I haven’t been blogging about anything actually done by ME recently… it’s been a lot of J’adore work (which I hope people are enjoying none the less) It’s not Graphic Design, but it is photography (again)! I’m really trying to work on my ideas and compositions etc because my mum hinted about the possibility of getting me a proper camera (decent – you know what I mean… dslr 🙂 !!!) for christmas & birthday presents this year...

It’s weird that even though I have nothing to do all summer, I only find myself blogging about once a week! Recently, its been usually on a Wednesday so I purposely didn’t blog Wednesday and then yesterday I was knackered because my younger sister, Sophie, and I went to Bawsey Pits to do a photoshoot. I have found myself sitting on flickr for hours on end just admiring the work by some talented photographers and this prompted...

Have you ever heard of the saying ‘A girl can never have too many pairs of shoes’? My current total of shoes is at about… 30 – including boots ( I just counted and I am actually quite shocked now!!!!) So I prove my point that girls just love shoes. Well I love shoes (more than I thought) SO much that a couple of months ago I started cutting out pictures of shoes from magazines....
