So this week Instagram made some changes to their layout – the new simplicity looks great, but they’ve removed the header meaning that I now have to make a weekly roundup montage rather than just screenshot the generated one – boo! In terms of #The100DayProject, Week 10 has been the best yet because something really amazing happened! So every Monday there is a #The100DayProject newsletter which features inspiration from #The100DayProject feed and top picks from some...

At the beginning of January I received an exciting email. Nuffnang is the world’s leading blog advertising community. They are dedicated to building strong relationships between the bloggers in their community and brands seeking relevant publishers with strong followings to engage with. What does Nuffnang mean? “Real cool” in Jaifakan (a mix of Jamaican and African). I first learnt about them in November 2014 when one of my Cosmo Awards Babes, Katie, mentioned she was going to a...

I can’t believe it’s been just over 2 weeks since the UK Blog Awards – time has flown! Lovely snapchats from Alice  & Sam, Jess, Lydia and Yuliya! Thank you again to everyone for all the kind words and support – it really means a lot! I’ve received lovely comments, exciting emails and a round of applause at the studio on Monday morning when they found out – I blushed! And if I didn’t already...

Now, before you say anything… please read the title to the tune of this. The sun is shining, The Beach Boys are playing (on youtube) and I have been featured on ImagineThat’s blog: Have a look here. ImagineThat feature creatives from a range of disciplines, so why not submit your work? 🙂 You guys might have guessed that I can talk/write for England, but I actually found it quite hard writing my bio – not sure...

I’ve just discovered an email in my junk mail: ‘Hello Natasha, We just wanted to notify you that one of your projects was just featured on the Behance Student Show Gallery. Our curation team features a small number of projects every day. With thousands of options, we only pick a few that promote new thinking. Congrats, and great to have you involved in the Student Show! Be sure to share this achievement with your friends, family...

Whilst I was helping at the 3rd year’s show on Friday evening, my phone was buzzing like crazy. It wasn’t until the end of the night that I saw someone had commented on my blog ‘Congrats on being FP’ which meant… …I made the front page of WordPress! Being Freshly pressed is quite an achievement – ‘The best of 398,382 bloggers,645,239 new posts, 1,253,744comments, & 143,986,810 words posted today on WordPress.com.’ – That’s a lot of competition! I’ve been FP before but this...

This is so exciting and crazy, I almost didn’t believe it at first! I am a now published designer! My work in featured in a BOOK! Yes, a real life, printed, published, dispersed around the world, book! Packaging Structures features my Kombucha health drink packaging from back when I was at college! It’s just madness! Back in July I uploaded the project to my Behance profile and within 2 hours I had received an email from...

Check me out! Ahhh so excited/happy about this! My University tutor asked me to be a guest contributor on the course blog, Discourse and you know me – I love blogging so couldn’t pass down the opportunity! My first post is one that you might recognise as J’adore LetterMPress App for Ipad but I will be doing some other posts about current designy things exclusively for Discourse! (I will let you know though!) Looking forward to filling...

Yesterday just before 9PM I was trying to avoid doing work and came online to check my site stats (blog views). I was so shocked! My views were at 500 for that day! I have recently been averaging about 74 a day, so 500 was a major shock! My immediate thought was ‘I’ve been featured somewhere!!?’ so I checked the referrers – WordPress.com was at the top! I was so excited to be featured on...
