It’s always great to hear about the success stories of students from Lincoln and hope that at the end of 3rd year, my journey into ‘the real world’/industry will be as good. Today Stewart Linton came back to Lincoln to talk to us about his experience of getting a job, his time at Iris and some advice to help us along the way! Stewart graduated 2 years ago, so just before I came to study...

Warning: This is going to be a long post with a lot of amazing Graphic Design – get a coffee, sit comfortably and be inspired! Studio 8 came to visit us Lincoln Students on Wednesday! It was held in ‘our’ Faculty building(Art, Architecture & Design), but I think I’ve only been in there once on an open day so it was a new experience! What a maze! Anyway, back to the important part… Studio 8...

Nicola, Patricia and Luise (who gave our talk on her own today) create weird, wonderful and quirky...

Today was a free lecture and we even got free samples of energy drink...

Earlier today I went to a guest lecture by Chris Rain of Airside – a London based ‘creative agency’ with quite a heavy Japanese style influence. They work across basically all of the disciplines; graphic design, illustration, digital, interactive and moving image. Firstly, I love their logo: Simple but cool and I like how they don’t need to show all parts of the letters for it to still be legible! I think it probably works better as...
