The support for #100daysoftriangles is still growing as we finish week 3 – thanks guys! I found it a bit easier this week, as I’m naturally looking for triangles in everything now. After work on Tuesday my housemate Lucy & I went on a 3 hour walk around London (from Shoreditch to Waterloo) which was lovely & gave me lots of triangle inspiration – the city is a beautiful place. 15 – The beach wear...

After a positive start in week one, at the end of week 2 I am already feeling the pressure/finding it hard to photograph triangles in beautiful ways. Sure, there are lots of triangles that I walk past but making them ‘Instagram worthy’ is a whole different story. However I love a challenge and am spurred on by your support – I’ve had people sending me ‘I saw this & thought of you’ messages this week...

So I think that the first week of #the100dayproject has gone quite well. Luckily I’ve been quite busy going places/doing things which makes it a lot easier to find interesting triangles, but I’m having to train myself to be on the look out constantly. If you’re looking, you can discover lots of triangles in our daily lives, and I want the project to have a good balance of triangles that I create and find! 01...

It’s crazy to think that I am the same age as Photoshop – Happy 25th Birthday! I don’t think that I knew Photoshop existed was until I was probably 15, but I wouldn’t have actually used it properly until I was 18. Now I can’t imagine my life without it – primarily as a Graphic Designer but also as a blogger because it’s not just design folk that use Photoshop now. Anyone can thanks to google...

I was browsing twitter, as you do, when I came across a tweet from Nora of Hello You about a #BloggersFilmSwap. When I read the post I was instantly hooked – what a great idea! However I noticed that at that point only 4 people had signed up so over the next week I spent a little while trying to persuade  more people to get involved. Last Sunday Nora emailed to reveal who I had been partnered...

On Friday evening I was excited to attend a bloggers preview event at The Royal Academy of Arts with Nadia and Lucy. ‘The Lost Album’ is an exhibition displaying photography by the late Dennis Hopper. Most famous for his work as an actor and director, Hopper was also a keen photographer, capturing candid and iconic moments throughout 18 years. Before seeing the photographs we enjoyed Strawberry Mojitos and Pink Lemonade courtesy of Atelier and made...

I met a girl in Manchester the other weekend and I just knew that I had to bring her home with me! I’m talking about Diana, my new lomography camera of course! (Haha had you going there, right?) She’s gold and shiny and best of all she was a bargain (cheap date). I bumped into her by accident in Urban Outfitters and noticed that she had a sticker on her that possibly wasn’t meant to...

So today I’m sharing something a bit different. Whilst at home last weekend I was lucky enough to be able to go along and help out on a photoshoot with 2 local photographers. With my sister (Sophie) and dog (Tia the Husky) as the models, Darina and Luke as the photographers and a quiet Fenland backdrop, it was great fun. I met Darina through a mutual friend (Lucy) at Uni but didn’t realise she was...

After a lovely Valentines weekend at home in the Fens, I headed back to London with a bunch of gorgeous roses and a smile: Just when I thought I had sussed most of the area around the studio out, I stumble across a secret garden in the middle of the city: I bet this is amazing in the summer, especially for a few cocktails after work! Southwark, the tube closest to the studio, gets brownie...

Just a quick note… I can’t believe it – this is my 500th post, WOW! Thank you for reading my rambling words and if you’ve read all 500 posts, there’s a special prize for you – a virtual handshake/pat on the back 🙂 Back in June, you might remember that I purchased my first Lomo camera – Lady P. As a newbie to analogue, I wanted to experiment before ‘having all the gear and no...

If you follow me on twitter you might have noticed that I’ve become a total hipster and jumped on the instagram bandwagon. I’ve joined the 21st century and have ‘swapped’ my blackberry for an apple (hence the post title).                I’ve had my iphone for about 3 weeks now and I love it. It’s been a busy few weeks  – I’ve been exploring Lincoln, Sheffield, Manchester and London and instagramming anything...

It’s been such a busy week; meetings, auction 13 stuff, RGB stuff, blog stuff, press & comms stuff, photos and videos. It’s all very exciting, but all very tiring. We have received 26 postcards so far and began revealing some of the creatives behind them today. Keep up to date with all Auction news here and don’t forget that bidding opens Monday 6th May and ends from 6PM Sunday 12th May! RGB is back! In February...

So I’m working on a new brief now – an open brief (queue dramatic music)!  Franz Kafka’s Metamorphosis is an interesting tale where Gregor, a hardworking travelling salesman, wakes up as a giant bug! The story is full of themes and underlying meanings, and we have been tasked with using the text and/or what it symbolises to create something. I get the feeling I’m being watched… …and I’ll explain more soon!

After a lot of planning, this morning it was finally time to do the photo shoot for the group project. I don’t think I’ve really mentioned about the latest project – it’s a group magazine project with the theme being ’21st century’. My group is Amber, Emma, Lucy, Sunjay, Tom and myself – with our magazine being called Divide. The brief requires us 13 pages each individually, as well as a front cover and a...
