The blog’s new clothes

Some may have noticed something a bit different recently…?

It’s been about 3 weeks now since I gave the blog some new ‘clothes’ – from stripes to triangles but still keeping with the mint green. It’s weird actually because it was around the same time last year that I changed it from the original look I had since the beginning…

I haven’t really had that many comments about it so what do you think? Like/dislike? If you’re wondering what it’s all about, then this will hopefully help you make the connection:

I thought it was time for a change seeing as I’m going into my final year in September. I wanted something a bit cleaner and more professional, rather than the sweet shop candy stripes I had before (which I loved at the time but don’t think it really matches my work/style now).

I’ve had a few comments and it would seem that triangle love is in the air…   ▲

The Brand of Me: The Badge

Today the final badge was born(made). One of the technicians at TPH (Thomas Parker House) kindly made my design into an actual badge!
If you remember, all of my designs were in pencil so I digitalised and printed them off on my shiny new printer (had to get a new one because although my old printer had a CD for installation with Mac, it wasn’t compatible!):

As you can see… the badge cutter was actually a bit bigger than the size specified on the brief (58mm) so I have ended up with the line showing on mine :( and also not much of the pattern! Here’s how it should look:

I’m not sure if we’re actually going to have to wear these badges, as I had assumed they were an icebreaker thing to try and get to know people’s names? But I thought ‘Do the cliche badge picture, why not?’ So here is my badge in situ…

Voila!
