So my Zine is nearly done… time to dress it now a.k.a put front & back covers on!
I wanted to use a cigarette packet in the design somehow, and at first was just going to draw a cigarette packet design onto the covers BUT then a more interesting idea jumped in and took over; a cigarette packet as the cover! I wasn’t sure how it would work so made a couple of nets:
When I had worked up the courage, I decided it was time to take the plunge and make it out of the actual card:
It took me half an hour to make EACH box! I was frustrated to say the least…
… managed to make 5 though 🙂
I then sharpie’d the designs on…
… and then glued them all together with my glue gun:
Et VOILA! All finished! Ahhhh it feels so good to have them done! What do you think?? Like? Dislike?
I’m hoping to take some better pictures of these soon… hopefully they come back from assessment in one piece or I might actually cry! I’ve got my review at 9am… I’ll let you know how I get on! 🙂

Hi Tasha – these look great. I am always impressed by how you always choose a problematic and time-consuming route – never the path of least resistance! Keep going my girl, you make me proud!

Thanks Chris!
I always over-complicate things for myself, but it usually pays off in the end 🙂
Forget where I came from? Never! You taught us everything we know! 😀
