Christmas in July @ Oliver Bonas

As a Boxing Day baby I’m not the biggest fan of Christmas and I usually avoid any mention of it until there’s a D in the month. However when Oliver Bonas invited me to their Christmas in July press day I found it hard to say no! I know, I know, it’s WAY too early to be thinking about the C-word in July, but someones gotta do it I guess, or there wouldn’t be lovely things in the shops come December. It’s now just over 2 months to go and there’s at least a ‘ber’ in the month, so I thought I’d share some of the lovely things that will be hitting the shops soon…

Walking into their Marylebone store, I was greeted by this pinterest-esque style wall with all of their beautiful product photography. I instantly knew I was going to have mentally spent all of my money by the time I left…

Beautiful antique style mirrors and photo frames (from £10) – the first hint that metallics are going to be in this winter. And with winter in mind, Oliver Bonas and Innocent smoothies have teamed up to produce a full size range of their charity smoothie wooly hats – so cute and for a good cause too! Just behind the bobble hat, something caught my eye…

… WOW! How amazing is this bold & colourful wrapping paper? As a graphic geek I asked the OB guys ‘Who creates all of your amazing prints?’ and they explained that their designer Molly has her own space for getting her hands messy. Sounds like a dream job if you ask me? Imagine receiving a gift wrapped in that paper? I don’t know if I’d be able to open it ha I think they look great as prints so just add a frame and voila!

Back to metallics, and I am so in love with these geometric terrarium style trinket boxes. I don’t have enough jewellery, but I’ll take one of each style thanks! Just imagine them sitting in a cluster as per the beautiful OB press shots:

It goes without saying that those alphabet accessories (bags, purses and copper metal letters) will be on the top of everyone’s list come December – I already have a metal N sitting pride of place on my dresser 🙂 I’ve also got my eye on these pastel coloured trunks as well as the bright acrylic boxes and frames… and I might have made a small purchase 😉

Those amazing frames will give a glow to any simple typographic or illustrative print! And talking of prints, the bold patterns continue across the Oliver Bonas range including bath fizz and perfumes – they smell good enough to eat and will be perfect gifts to keep all of your loved ones sweet.

In between drooling and emptying my bank account I had my nails done by Natalie Rose in this fancy coppery shade and admired the geometric window graphics…

And of course there was time for a quick mirror selfie (with Tierney laughing at me) before I skipped out of the door high on OB-bliss.

Thanks to the lovely ladies at Oliver Bonas for having me. I know it’s hard to think about Christmas right now, but once you do start to plan make sure you nip into Oliver Bonas. These awesome things will start to appear in store soon and I guarantee you won’t leave empty handed!

What do you think to the new Oliver Bonas goodies? Which are your favourite pieces/ what will you be buying this Christmas?  Let me know 🙂
