A space of our own

Sorry for the radio silence – I can’t believe it’s been 2 weeks since my last post. If you follow me via social media you might have noticed that I’ve been super busy: working, attending events, hanging with awesome bloggers, Tweeting, Youtubing and #The100DayProject-ing (more on that soon).

I’ve also been doing a lot of other things recently, the main thing being flat hunting. After 6 years of our relationship and 2 years of house sharing, Jack and I thought it was about time for us to get a space of our own. I’m growing up and we’re moving into our own little 1 bed flat mid-May – wooo! I’ll be really sad to leave my housemates because it honestly feels like we’re a little family, but don’t worry as I’m sure they’ll come to visit a lot and still feature in my vlogs 😉

Leaving the little space thats been mine for almost 2 years is going to be so weird…

So soon I’ll be giggling at another window!

You might remember that I recently did a video tour of my creative space/desk in my room, which you guys seemed to love. I’ll be sad to leave my little room(emphasis on little there) however, this does mean that I’ll be able to create ANOTHER, bigger design-lead space. There will be even more space and opportunities to talk about design, hopefully do some DIY tutorials and I’m excited to share that journey with you guys.

In the excitement, I started a Pinterest board to collate my inspiration for the new flat – think monochrome with pops of colour:

Graphique Wishlist

Habitat | Oliver Bonas | Primark | H&M Home | HAY

These are just a few of the items I’ve been drooling over whilst imagining our new space(and we’ve already bought a couple of them). If you guys know any great places to buy home wares please feel free to share 🙂 I also have IKEA, Tiger, TK Maxx and Urban Outfitters on my list to check out, but would love to discover some independent stores too!

P.S. All packing tips are welcome pleaseandthanks 🙂

Congrats and good luck in your move – looks like May is a month of moving as I am too! ☺️ I’m also using it as an opportunity to acquire new house bits – it’s the best!

How exciting! Moving always takes such a massive amount of energy no wonder you haven’t been posting as often! I like the pieces you’ve picked out for the new place. If you’re looking for something a bit different as well then I’d definitely recommend taking a look at themakerplace.co.uk for style-led indie design 😉 All the best for the move!
